Water Aerobics

Our aqua fitness program includes a wide variety of classes. Adults, teenagers sixteen and older, and guests of all fitness levels will benefit from and enjoy the fun classes offered in the pool. Starting at 8:30 a.m. every morning, water walking is available to you in our 30’ x 60’ heated swimming pool. At 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. and again from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. we offer water classes 5 days a week. Our pool classes include aqua aerobics, aqua Tabata, aqua abs, aqua delta bells, aqua noodle, aqua circuit, aqua games, and aqua volleyball.  Aqua classes are 40 minutes except aqua stretch which is 15 minutes.

This class format emphasizes cardiovascular conditioning and toning. It is a great choice for those who enjoy water activities, seniors, and physically limited participants.  The water reduces orthopedic stress on ligaments, tendons, joints, bones and muscles: however, it is not a "powder puff" workout.  Buoyancy and resistance equipment are used for variety and conditioning. Pool classes are a refreshing way to start or end your day and are an excellent way to get a great workout with less stress on your system. You will find our classes are tons of fun so make sure to pack your suit and get ready to jump in!
