What Are You Really Hungry for?
When we gather with a group of friends for dinner, someone usually asks, “What are you hungry for? Italian? Mexican?”
I find myself asking this question in the grocery store…. What will make my palate happy? What will satisfy me today? Tomorrow? During the week?
In today’s blog, I am asking a deeper question, “what are you hungry for?” Fuel for the body or food for an emotion? Are you feeding your body protein and fuel for a healthy lifestyle? If the answer is yes, then eat with joy. If the answer is no, then you have the opportunity to stop and re-think your meal or snack before ingesting it.
